Adamo and Vicci are dance instructors, organisers, choreographers and DJs specialising in blues dance. They started their blues dancing journey together in London, where they nurtured and grew the blues dance scene, setting up two weekly blues dance events plus a monthly live music event. They created Europe’s first blues dance performance troupe, The Down and Outs, are co-organisers of Espanish Blues Festival in Madrid, and organisers of Bluesology Teacher Training in Valencia, Spain.


Adamo and Vicci have an incredible chemistry on the dance floor. Their passion for both blues music and dance is evident in their inspiring classes, giving dynamic and energetic lessons with a focus on honouring the history of the blues and the African American culture from which it came. Both trained teachers, they strive to bring out and improve dancers technique, confidence, creativity, communication skills, and understanding of the music. They love to create new and intuitive ways to communicate technical concepts to their students. Their lessons are interactive and interdisciplinary involving drawing, discussions, giant elastic bands and even chopsticks!!!


Gas is a professional dancer and dance instructor, based in Madrid, Spain. He specializes in vintage dance styles including Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues and Tango.  Gastón’s passion for Blues has taken him around the world, and he has taught and performed in Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, England, Portugal, Australia, EEUUU, among others. He has also been a major proponent of Blues dance in Buenos Aires and is now increasingly in demand to teach Blues internationally. With intense partner connection, Gas fuses Blues with Tango techincque, though always striving to stay grounded in the essence of the Blues, As well he is a champion dancer and won the inaugural Blues division at the European Swing Dance Championships. 

Alba started teaching locally in Leeds since 2008 and in London for swing patrol in 2010. She loves all the different dance styles of the swing era: Lindy Hop, Blues, Balboa and Authentic Jazz. In November 2012 she moved back to Madrid, where she opened a swing school (Big Mama Swing), bringing top international leads to help her with her mission (Kenny Nelson, Shorty George and  finally Gastón Fernández, now her permanent dance partner). This new step in her life is leading her to being asked to teach internationally with increasing frequency at different international events. She is eager to share with everybody her passion for dance that has taken over her life.


lex&Ioanna are an enthusiastic Blues dance couple! They have been dancing, practicing & travelling together exploring the Blues dance, culture and communities around Europe.

They love sharing our personal style of dancing through teaching, adore choreographing captivating performances and cherish long nights of social dancing!

They are both highly trained dancers; Ioanna has been dancing since she was a child and Alex has been doing Swing dances for more than 10 years!

Since 2017 we have been focusing mainly on Blues, travelling around Europe deepening our understanding of Blues dancing and its culture as well as continuously developing our dance and teaching skills!

They teach Blues locally and internationally. Internationally they've been honored with teaching both as main and taster teachers in renowned festivals such as Drag the Blues, Petit ESBF (upcoming), Toulouse Blues Marathon (upcoming) as well as smaller festivals (Blue Move Summer Camp, Autumn Blues & more)


Melanie&Albert are a couple of dancers, specialized in Blues and Lindy Hop, based in La Garriga (Barcelona). Travelling for dance, teach and meet people is their best desire! For them, Blues is one of the dancing disciplines that require the most interpretative attitude. Their identity is constituited by the creativity and emotion sprung from them when they dance Blues.

They have built a Blues dance community in their local scene and are also the organizers of the Low&Slow Festival, in La Garriga (Barcelona).
